Musk believes global warming is not the biggest threat to civilization

According to Elon Musk, global warming is one of the biggest risks to civilization, but it isn’t the biggest.

In his opinion, falling birth rates will contribute to a population decline that will lead to population collapse.

The 51-year-old CEO of Tesla, who has nine children of his own, tweeted this morning his thoughts on falling birth rates.

It’s not the first time the 51-year-old has expressed concern about the global underpopulation crisis.

“Population collapse due to low birth rates is a much bigger risk to civilization than global warming,” Elon Musk tweeted this morning. “Mark these words,” he said in a follow-up tweet, adding: “And I do think global warming is a major risk.”
